The vehicle design maintains a low-slung profile that hugs the ground and draws inspiration from Japanese eagles in flight, which the design team studied during the conceptualization process. The [sleek sedan](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2026-hyundai-ioniq-6) is given a sense of depth thanks to the Shadow blue paint that changes in hue according to the angle thanks to the use of carbon nanotubes, glass and gold flakes. INFINITI Exterior Designer Masanobu Ino spoke on the INFINITI Vision Qe concept saying, "As designers, we aren’t seeking to create something that’s just beautiful, rather, we want to create something that evokes a deeper response. If people feel a sense of shock or intrigue when looking at the Vision Qe concept, that’s more in line with our intention and brings to life the philosophy of Kabuku. Pairing beauty with a deeper emotional response was our goal." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.7/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 21% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Streamlined Vehicle Design:** The ultra-streamlined INFINITI Vision Qe concept showcases a low-slung profile that hugs the ground and draws inspiration from Japanese eagles in flight, presenting opportunities for sleek and aerodynamic vehicle designs. - **Color-changing Paint Technology:** The use of carbon nanotubes, glass, and gold flakes in the Shadow blue paint of the INFINITI Vision Qe concept allows it to change hues according to the angle, creating opportunities for innovative and dynamic color-changing paint technology in the automotive industry. - **Emotional Response in Vehicle Design:** INFINITI's goal with the Vision Qe concept is to create a design that evokes a deeper response, aiming for shock or intrigue when looking at the vehicle, opening up opportunities for emotionally impactful vehicle designs. ### Where This Applies - **Automotive Design:** The ultra-streamlined design of the INFINITI Vision Qe concept presents disruptive innovation opportunities for the automotive design industry, inspiring sleek and aerodynamic vehicle designs. - **Automotive Paint Technology:** The use of carbon nanotubes, glass, and gold flakes in the color-changing paint of the INFINITI Vision Qe concept paves the way for disruptive innovation in the automotive paint industry, allowing for dynamic color-shifting capabilities. - **Vehicle Emotional Design:** INFINITI's focus on creating an emotional response with the Vision Qe concept opens up disruptive innovation opportunities in the vehicle design industry, inspiring designs that evoke shock or intrigue in viewers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Electric Performance Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audi-vision-gt.md) - [New Energy Vehicle Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nebula-next.md) - [Elegant Electric Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/genesis-x-speedium.md) - [Superyacht-Inspired EV Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acura-performance-ev-concept.md) - [Sleek American EV Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lincoln-star-concept-vehicle.md) - [Lighting-Wrapped Concept Coupes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-coupe.md) - [Sculpted Digital Conceptual Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hyper-adventure.md) - [Art Deco Show-Car Statements](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vision-iconic.md) - [Ultra-Futuristic Modern Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mercedesbenz-vision-oneeleven.md)
