Taking blatant elements from the popular and coveted lightcycle, the Inertia Bike is all soft curves and blue highlights. The Inertia Bike was conceived by designer Devraj Bhadra. It is an [electric city bicycle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eidolon) that is as eco-friendly as it is stylish. It boasts a fiber glass body with a carbon fiber skeleton, making it super lightweight. The [spoke-less wheels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-bicycle-model) shed even more weight. The Inertia Bike is powered by in-wheel motors. It also has an extendable and adjustable peddle system to adapt to any rider. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 71% | Activity: 77% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Film-inspired Design:** Opportunity for industries to create products influenced by popular movies, such as bicycles inspired by 'TRON: Legacy.' - **Electric City Bicycles:** Opportunity for innovation in the electric bicycle industry, with sleek and eco-friendly designs like the Inertia Bike. - **Lightweight and Stylish:** Opportunity for industries to develop lightweight and fashionable products, such as the Inertia Bike with its fiber glass body and carbon fiber skeleton. ### Who This Affects Most - **Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in the design industry through the creation of products inspired by popular films, like the Inertia Bike. - **Electric Bicycles:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in the electric bicycle industry with the development of stylish and environmentally-friendly options, exemplified by the Inertia Bike. - **Sports and Outdoor Gear:** Opportunities for disruptive innovation in the sports and outdoor gear industry, by creating lightweight and fashionable products like the Inertia Bike. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Futuristic Single-Wheel Bicycles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-infinity-bike.md) - [Futuristic Concept Motorcycles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-motorcycle1.md) - [Futuristic Sci-Fi Motorbikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hermes-x30.md) - [Immersive Futuristic Fitness Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ex8s-connect-bike.md) - [Futuristic German E-Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blade-one.md) - [Nighttime Limited Electric Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nocturne-bike.md) - [Hybrid Design Electric Motorcycles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instinct-electric-motorcycle.md) - [Sci-Fi-Inspired Superbikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/akiraducati-superbike.md) - [Futuristic Single-Seater Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/future-mobility-concept.md)
