# Devious Industrial Street Art ARYZ Creates a Piece Called 'Overprotection' in Austria By Jamie Danielle Munro | Published 2014-04-05 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/industrial-street-art References: [juxtapoz](http://www.juxtapoz.com/street-art/aryz-in-linz-austria) & [vimeo](http://vimeo.com/90857319) This industrial street art by ARYZ was recently painted in Lynz, Austria. The piece is called 'Overprotection,' and features a devious-looking couple in a suspicious embrace. The [timelapse video](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paul-anthony-smith) that accompanies this work is also worth watching. ARYZ is captured painting the entire mural, and it's amazing to see just how much work is put into these projects. ARYZ is seen endlessly going up and down on a massive crane, slowly piecing together this [massive piece of artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/craig-karl2). The end result makes everything worth it, as the detail can be seen even from across the water. ARYZ doesn't explicitly state why this piece of industrial street art is called 'Overprotection,' but it could have something to do with the one person holding his significant other a bit too tight in the work. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 11% | Activity: 32% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Graffiti](https://www.trendhunter.com/graffiti) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Industrial Street Art:** Opportunities for disruptive innovation in the integration of street art in industrial spaces as a form of creative branding. - **Timelapse Videos for Art Projects:** Opportunities for disruptive innovation in creating engaging timelapse videos for art projects to increase visibility and interest in the project. - **Suspenseful Imagery in Art:** Opportunities for disruptive innovation in incorporating suspenseful or ambiguous imagery in art projects to provoke deeper thought and analysis in the audience. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art Galleries:** Art galleries can look into showcasing industrial street art and timelapse videos to attract younger audiences and create a unique experience. - **Manufacturing:** Manufacturing companies can explore the use of industrial street art in their factories as a form of creative branding and employee morale boosting. - **Tourism:** Tourism boards can leverage industrial street art and timelapse videos as attractions to draw visitors and promote cultural exploration in the cities and areas they represent. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Distorted Furniture Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/first-kiss-at-last-light.md) - [Tree-Integrated Mysterious Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tree-mural.md) - [Cage-Inspired Arch Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-weiweis-work.md) - [Collaborative Monochromatic Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collaborative-monochromatic-art-exhibition.md) - [Interactive Typo Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loveegolov.md) - [Digital City-Inspired Art Works](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-central-station.md) - [Monochromatic Bronze Art Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/evgen-copi-gorisek.md) - [UK-Based Modern Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/relics-in-the-landscape.md) - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md)
