Built in 1926, the four-storey structure has a penthouse loft with an [extensive roof garden](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/attic-above-garden). Alexander Design embraces the recurring elements and vibes of traditional industrial lofts and re-creates the gray concrete space with hits of wood and soft textures. The furniture harmoniously intertwines itself with the massive windows that fill the interior with daylight. The renovated abode has every room one can possibly think of, including a gym and a playful swing. As far as industrial lofts go, this Alexander Design's project is definitely a dream for any creative spirit. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Renovated Industrial Lofts:** Renovating industrial lofts into desirable living spaces with unique aesthetics - **Gray Monochromatic Palette:** Implementing sleek gray monochromatic palettes in industrial loft redesigns - **Blending Industrial and Modern Design:** Blending industrial elements with modern design for one-of-a-kind living spaces ### Who This Affects Most - **Real Estate:** Opportunities to invest in the renovation and repurposing of aging industrial buildings into modern living spaces - **Interior Design:** Innovating the use of muted monochromatic color schemes to achieve sleek and modern design in industrial loft spaces - **Architecture:** Designing and repurposing existing spaces to blend industrial elements with modern design for unique living and working areas ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Exposed Wooden Beam Lofts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gowanus-loft.md) - [Converted Industrial Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1960s-warehouse.md) - [Reimagined Modern NYC Lofts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tribeca-loft.md) - [Remodelled Denim-Detailed Modern Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microloft.md) - [European-Inspired Urban Lofts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ghislaine-via.md) - [Industrial Loft Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-casa-mrgt.md) - [Artist Apartment Conversions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alan-prekop-studio.md) - [Textile-Transformed Parisian Lofts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/isabelle-heilmann.md) - [Manhattan-Honoring New York Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mcgovern-project.md)
