Designed by Esty shop owner Dima Gurevich, these [porcelain planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-planters-1) are shaped like two hands cupped together. When you put a plant inside, it'll look as though a pretty pair of hands are lovingly holding nurturing the plant's growth. Each of these hand planters are molded in white porcelain after Gurevich's own hands. Because of the individual shape of Gurevich's hands, these indoor planters have a rare, asymmetrical shape. If you like these plant holders but aren't a fan of plants, you could fill them up with change, keys or jewelry instead. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 73% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Hand-shaped Indoor Planters:** These hand-shaped indoor planters offer a quirky and unique way to display plants in homes or offices. - **Asymmetrical Plant Containers:** The asymmetrical shape of these planters presents opportunities for unconventional plant designs and arrangements. - **Multipurpose Plant Holders:** The versatility of these plant holders allows for alternative uses such as organizing small items like change, keys, or jewelry. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** The hand-shaped planters can disrupt the home decor industry by introducing a playful and whimsical element to interior design. - **Gardening:** Asymmetrical plant containers provide a fresh approach to gardening that encourages creative plant arrangements and exploration of unique plant species. - **Giftware:** The multipurpose plant holders can disrupt the giftware industry by offering a novel and practical gift option for various occasions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Uniquely Shaped Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-watering-plant-house.md) - [Futuristic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-klaustrafloria.md) - [Minimalist Greenery Bookends](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-propagation-bookend.md) - [Artsy Hanging Plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-air-plant-mobile.md) - [Self-Watering Desk Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/posha.md) - [Vertical Workstation Wall Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-wall-planter.md) - [Virtual Pet Planter Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-pot-concept.md) - [Trellis-Equipped Indoor Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blume-planter.md) - [Illusory Planter Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rooted-planter.md)
