The 'Here Mobile SDK' will be available on Android and Windows phones and will finally be the solution to mapping indoors. Whether its finding the nearest bathroom, a favorite store, or [find a gate at the airport](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airport-navigations), the Here Mobile SDK saves you time and makes all of that easier. In an extremely immersive experience, 3D buildings will be brought to life, allowing users to zoom, rotate and tilt. Rather than just serving as a map, the app allows for realistic pictures and can assess buildings with multiple floors. The app will also label store and restaurant names and allow users to tap on them to gather more information. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 34% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Indoor Mapping Apps:** The Here Mobile SDK is disrupting the navigation market by providing indoor maps and an extremely immersive experience. - **3D Building Visualization:** The Here Mobile SDK's 3D visualization technology has the potential to be a disruptive innovation across industries, particularly in architecture and engineering. - **Augmented Reality in Navigation:** The augmented reality features of the Here Mobile SDK create opportunities for disruption in tourism and retail industries, among others. ### Where This Applies - **Navigation:** The Here Mobile SDK is disrupting the navigation industry by providing indoor maps and an extremely immersive experience. - **Architecture and Engineering:** The Here Mobile SDK's 3D visualization technology has the potential to be a disruptive innovation in architecture and engineering industries, enabling more efficient planning and design. - **Tourism and Retail:** The augmented reality features of the Here Mobile SDK create opportunities for disruption in tourism and retail industries, allowing for more engaging experiences for customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Customizable Navigation Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/navigation-solution.md) - [Public Bathroom Location Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-bathroom-app.md) - [Airport-Focused Digital Navigation Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/digital-navigation-system.md) - [Hybrid Work-Focused Mapping Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/workplace-indoor-mapping.md) - [Smart 3D Home Maps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/map-view.md) - [Logistics-Tracking GPS Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logistics-tracking-gps-app.md) - [Assistive Navigation Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/navigation-system.md) - [Inclusive Airport Navigation Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airport-navigations.md) - [Map Discovery Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/allinmap.md)
