Setting off the fireworks involves pressing a big red button, which will activate [music, light, bubbles and confetti](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/confetti-lab). To keep the effects as delightful as possible, Sayuda describes that "The button should only be pressed at times of extreme stress." As much fun as the design of the Desktop Fireworks are, they address the rather serious issue of people becoming [overworked and stressed out](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/speks-magnet-balls). Sayuda dedicated his unique creation to his father, designer Kenichi Sayuda, who committed suicide due to extreme stress at work back in 1995. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Indoor Celebration Accessories:** Opportunities to create innovative products that provide fun and entertainment for small celebrations, even in indoor settings. - **Stress-relieving Devices:** Development of stress-relieving devices that provide a sense of playfulness and relaxation in the workplace. - **Work-life Balance Solutions:** Innovations that promote work-life balance and help individuals manage stress and prevent burnout. ### Who This Affects Most - **Event Planning:** The event planning industry can incorporate Desktop Fireworks and similar products to offer unique and exciting experiences for small indoor celebrations. - **Wellness and Self-care:** The wellness and self-care industry can explore stress-relieving devices like Desktop Fireworks to enhance relaxation and reduce workplace stress. - **Employee Assistance Programs:** Employee assistance programs can benefit from incorporating work-life balance solutions, including stress-relieving devices, to support employees' mental health and well-being. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Soothing Tetrapod Desk Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seawall-desk-accessories.md) - [Workstation Zen Garden Equipment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desktop-zen-garden.md) - [Digital Holiday Light Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/festivitas-app.md) - [Desktop Miniature Sports Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desk-beach-volleyball.md) - [Korean Game-Inspired Desk Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playful-desk-accessories.md) - [Calming Desktop Novelty Items](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-peaceful-lotus.md) - [Minimal Desk Accessories Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deskrisk.md) - [Sparkler-Holding Glass Jars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sparkler-in-your-palm.md) - [Productive Desk Accessory Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yazak.md)
