The Inculta Bench is designed with a built-in squeegee to wipe off [rainwater and dirt](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/raindrop-1). Although sitting on a [wet bench](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobidry) isn't an everyday occurrence, it's still inconvenient. The Inculta Bench provides a simple solution to a problem that has plagued benches since their birth. I'll be double-checking every bench and chair from here on out. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 20% | Activity: 27% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Wet Bench Solutions:** Designing benches with built-in rainwater-wiping features offers a disruptive innovation opportunity in the outdoor furniture market. - **Integrated Wiper Technology:** Developing integrated wiper technology for outdoor seating opens up opportunities for disruptive innovation in the field of urban infrastructure. - **Functional Furniture Design:** Creating functional furniture design that addresses everyday inconveniences like wet benches presents a disruptive innovation opportunity in the interior design industry. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Outdoor Furniture:** The outdoor furniture industry can explore disruptive innovation opportunities by incorporating rainwater-wiping features into their bench designs. - **Urban Infrastructure:** The urban infrastructure industry can leverage disruptive innovation by developing integrated wiper technology for outdoor seating in public spaces. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can tap into disruptive innovation by incorporating functional design elements that address everyday inconveniences such as wet benches. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bike-Friendly Outdoor Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinajarro-bench.md) - [Urban Solar Charging Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perovia.md) - [Chic Recycled Aluminum Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bello-bench.md) - [Threshold Bench Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/torii.md) - [Elegantly Airy Outdoor Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arch-bench.md) - [Ultra-Durable Bench Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garden-bench.md) - [Sustainable Paper-Infused Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/detalji-bench.md) - [Childhood Connection-Promoting Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buddy-bench1.md) - [Recycled Resin Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cresta.md)
