# Spotted Illumination Slabs The IncontroArdito Bolla Lighting System Casts Wonder onto Your Walls By Regan Canie | Published 2011-10-24 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/incontroardito-bolla References: [trendir](http://www.trendir.com/archives/005797.html) & [incontroardito.it](http://www.incontroardito.it/) To glow from within is a coveted compliment but when it comes to your walls it's never exactly been a common concept, until the IncontroArdito Bolla installation lit up dreary decor. The idea behind the Bolla, created by a modern Italian design company, is to highlight the emotions around you by emitting circular LED spotlights literally from within a marble-looking slab. This incandescent-casted embellishment can be personally controlled by the user and the slabs are created with both a concave and convex side so that the light-up luxury piece can be modified and manipulated by the flip of the fixture. To dramatically change any basic bedroom, humdrum hallway or limp livingroom, add the synthetic IncontroArdito Bolla installation to your decor. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 81% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Illuminated Interior Design:** There is an opportunity to create more creative and personalized interior design solutions by incorporating the use of illuminated slabs like the IncontroArdito Bolla lighting system. - **Modular Lighting:** Modular lighting systems, like the Bolla installation, can provide users with greater control over the lighting in their environment and allow for customization and flexibility in design. - **Synthetic Luxury Decor:** The IncontroArdito Bolla installation represents an opportunity for designers to create synthetic luxury decor pieces that are cost-effective and accessible to a wider range of consumers. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate illuminated slabs like the IncontroArdito Bolla lighting system into their designs to create more personalized and dynamic spaces for their clients. - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can explore the use of modular lighting systems like the Bolla installation to provide consumers with more customizable and flexible lighting solutions. - **Lighting Technology:** The use of circular LED spotlights in the IncontroArdito Bolla installation represents an opportunity for lighting technology companies to develop more innovative methods of incorporating lighting into interior design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ethereal Lunar Wall Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luna-piena-wall-lamp.md) - [Geometric Bar-Like Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/empyrean.md) - [Wall-Mounted Ambient Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-varmblixt-collection.md) - [Dazzling Gradient Lighting Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-bulb.md) - [Immersive Lighting Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immersive-lighting-installation.md) - [Stone-Inspired Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/karim-rashid-kobble.md) - [Otherworldly Lighting Fixture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otherworldly-lighting-fixture.md) - [Unconventional Modular Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luna-kaleido-series.md) - [Geometric-Shaped Wall Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/impulse-wall-light.md)
