# Angular Audio Devices The iN:cline Portable Speaker Sharply Adapts to Your Musical Preferences By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-11-12 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/incline-portable-speaker References: [jungdongsung](http://www.jungdongsung.com/?portfolio=inclineportble-speaker) While designing the iN:cline Portable Speaker, Dongsung Jung opted to come up with something [aesthetically exciting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audio-pro-t3-jepson-edition) rather than basic and accommodating. Now even though it has a wacky shape about it, this sound system is no less practical to use in a wide range of scenarios. The main body of the device is small and rectangular in shape, and likely no thicker than a couple of centimeters. One corner has been beveled off of it, enabling it to be turned and balanced on an angle. The gadget can be placed easily upon four sides for very different orientations. A ring projects from the iN:cline Portable Speaker at one end, acting like a brace for the pivoting amplifier. It can be turned in any direction too, and synced to your smartphone flexibly by means of [Bluetooth technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tivoli-audio-boutique). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 70% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Aesthetically Exciting Audio Devices:** Designing unique and exciting audio devices that blend practicality with aesthetics, such as the iN:cline Portable Speaker. - **Flexible Bluetooth Technology Speakers:** Developing speakers with Bluetooth technology that can be synced easily with smartphones, such as the iN:cline Portable Speaker. - **Multi-orientation Sound Systems:** Creating sound systems that can be placed in various orientations, such as the iN:cline Portable Speaker. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Consumer Electronics:** Innovating the consumer electronic industry with aesthetically pleasing and practical audio devices. - **Wireless Technology:** Continuing to revolutionize wireless technology and Bluetooth connectivity in the audio device industry. - **Interior Design:** Integrating unique and aesthetically pleasing audio devices into interior design, opening opportunities for disruptive innovation in the industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Balanced Uneven Surface Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paava-portable-speaker.md) - [Sculptural Speaker Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sonique.md) - [Rolling Pentagonal Speaker Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-speaker-concept.md) - [Two-in-One Speaker Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/one-plus-bluetooth-speaker.md) - [Geometric Foldable Speaker Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pentatonic-1.md) - [Acousto-Optic Smart Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-wireless-speaker-design.md) - [Tree-Inspired Speaker Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-pick-stand-speaker.md) - [Adaptable Smart Speaker Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/divid-smart-speaker-concept.md) - [Geometric Two-Part Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conceptual-bluetooth-speaker-design.md)
