The Marcelo Burlon Fall/Winter 2012 T-shirt collection is a new approach to the tribal tee. The collection was created in [collaboration with graphic designer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uniqlo-x-anya-hindmarch) Giorgio Di Salvo and touches on multicultural elements from Burlon's motherland of Patagonia, as well as raver and club culture. The result is a punchy and diverse array of wearable tees.

In reference to his work, Marcelo Burlon describes the collection as "clothing at its most basic and effective... a playground, a declaration of intents; a political manifesto, even." Burlon got some of his inspiration from [Givenchy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mask-fit-red-cushion) head designer Riccardo Tisci. Indeed, the same kaleidoscopic motif can be seen in Givenchy looks this season as well.

This collection of [graphic tees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/supreme-winter-2025-tees) by Marcelo Burlon captures the essence of modern youth culture: part vintage, part abstract, in-your-face and meaningful.
