Rather than creating something new out of nothing, David Steiner's In House project features a variety of [dinnerware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monte-porcelain) that's been crafted entirely from objects in his own house.

To craft the [quirky tableware set](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-of-tangible-spaces), Steiner fashioned a a roasting cast from an embroidery hoop, which makes it so that objects could be spun around a mold. Items in the set include cork that's been given new life as a lathe, melted pewter turned into [new utensils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nytt-lys) and even serving trays made from old rulers. In an age where it's so easy to 3D-print or buy something new, In House shows that greater gratification can be found by becoming a little bit more resourceful with what's around you.
