This means that Amazon [Prime](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amazon-grubhub) packages can now quickly and easily be delivered directly to one's garage in select places across the United States. Key by Amazon was previously introduced as an in-home delivery system that could be used with a smart lock kit. This new in-garage delivery system is based upon the use of myQ-connected technology, which gives homeowners greater control over the package delivery process. With a myQ smart-garage door opener, users are able to use Key by Amazon app and in a matter of minutes, begin securely receiving their online orders. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 41% | Activity: 57% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **In-garage Delivery:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced tracking systems and security measures to ensure safe and efficient in-garage delivery services. - **Myq-connected Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create smart home integration platforms that enable seamless communication between myQ-connected devices and various online delivery services. - **Smart Garage Door Openers:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design smart garage door openers with enhanced connectivity features to improve the in-garage delivery experience. ### Where This Applies - **E-commerce:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with delivery service providers to offer in-garage delivery options as a premium service for online shoppers. - **Home Security:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate home security systems with in-garage delivery services to provide customers with a comprehensive solution that ensures both package safety and home protection. - **Smart Home Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop platforms that enable seamless integration between smart home devices and delivery services, offering homeowners greater control and convenience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Camera-Equipped Garage Door Keypads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garage-door-video-keypad.md) - [Intelligent Three-In-One Smart Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/threeinone-smart-lock.md) - [30-Minute eCommerce Deliveries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amazon-now-delivery-service.md) - [Direct-to-Fridge Delivery Subscriptions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/directtofridge-delivery.md) - [Connected Porch Package Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-delivery-box.md) - [Drive-Thru Markets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instant-grocery-pickup.md) - [Premium Home Delivery Services](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quivers.md) - [Holiday Home Delivery Upgrades](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amazon-3.md) - [Connected Package Delivery Safes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doorbox-smart-delivery-box.md)
