This is Japan's new [flagship store](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/louis-vuitton-sanlitun) for the world famous [Swarovski](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oakley-x-swarovski) crystal company located in Ginza, Tokyo. Designed by Tokujin Yoshiok a Japanese designer, the “crystal forrest” facade resembles a cascade of crystals falling down but never reaching the ground. This crystal forrest however, is in fact stainless steel that creates the impressive optical illusion of thousands of crystals succumbing to gravity and free falling unimpeded to the sidewalk. I am not enamored of this design but nevertheless I think it is a pretty impressive architectural feat.
