To keep their households well-stocked during a disruptive time, people are buying in bulk and purchasing food and beverages that are packaged in larger quantities—and they can now even buy five-pound bricks of [Impossible Burger](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/impossible-sausage) patties directly from restaurants. Due to current conditions, the [FDA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Zeta-Surgical) relaxed its labeling rules, which allows direct-to-consumer sales of [Impossible Foods'](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vegetarian-meal-options) plant-based meat. Thanks to this new flexibility, Impossible Foods states that "all operators are eligible to sell the Impossible Burger 5 lb bricks, 1/4 lb patties or 1/3 lb patties to customers." With a purchase, restaurants supply customers with a printed copy of Impossible Burger’s ingredient list and allergens.

With this plant-based patty from Impossible Foods, consumers have the potential to make everything from vegan-friendly meatballs to lasagna and tacos with the protein-packed meatless alternative.
