# Geektastic Bedroom Furniture The Imperial Walker 'Star Wars' Bed is the Ultimate Fanboy's Dream By Vittoria Natarelli | Published 2010-05-15 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/imperial-walker-star-wars-bed References: [techeblog](http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/amazing-three-level-imperial-walker-bed) & [gizmodo](http://gizmodo.com/5537630/crazy-diy-project) For the 'Star Wars' fan who has everything, why not sleep in the Imperial Walker 'Star Wars' bed? Wake up surrounded and inside something uniquely 'Star Wars.' This three-level best-bunk-bed ever was built by a Gizmodo reader, who put in somewhere between 300 and 400 hours. It not only has a sleeping area but additional places for the lucky child to climb and play. The Imperial Walker 'Star Wars' bed is pretty amazing, even more so because it was a DIY project. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 43% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Fan-driven Furniture:** Opportunity to create customizable furniture designs inspired by popular franchises to cater to passionate fans. - **Immersive Bed Designs:** Potential for developing unique and creative bed designs that provide an immersive experience for users. - **DIY Furniture Projects:** Demand for DIY furniture projects that allow individuals to personalize their living spaces with custom-made pieces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Innovate in the furniture manufacturing industry by offering customizable designs inspired by popular franchises. - **Home Decor:** Find opportunities in the home decor industry by creating immersive bed designs that enhance the overall bedroom experience. - **Diy/home Improvement Retail:** Capitalizing on the demand for DIY projects by offering resources, tools, and materials for individuals to create their own unique furniture. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Drone-Themed Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drone-themed-bed.md) - [Festive Sci-Fi Building Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gingerbread-atat-walker.md) - [Sophisticated Sci-Fi Toy Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-ultimate-collectors-series-atat.md) - [Sci-Fi Large-Scale Block Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ucs-death-star.md) - [Sci-Fi-Branded Gamer Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/secretlab-x-star-wars.md) - [Sci-Fi Scene-Inspired Lego Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scifi-sceneinspired-lego-set.md) - [Ergonomic Gaming-Centric Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drift-gaming-bed.md) - [Sci Fi-Inspired Desk Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightsaber-lego.md) - [Intergalactic Gamer Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/starfield-x-tempur-dream-chair.md)
