His new 'Alone' series really does have a profoundly lonely feeling to it, which is enhanced by the artist's use of space and color, and how he is able to so aptly portray a feeling every single person knows all too well. The Milan-based artist takes viewers on a ride in his illustration prints series that will ring true with you. The almost protagonist-like series follows the lives of unusually shaped [comic figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thrilljoy-pix) and all the stuff they get into from reflective moments in forests to jumping off cliffs with motorbikes. What makes Puccini's series visually appealing, aside from the dazzling use of [psychedelic colors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-psychedelia), is the fact that this unrealistic figure is put in real life settings doing real life things. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 44% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Psychedelic Illustrations:** Artists can explore new ways to use vibrant colors and unusual shapes to create captivating illustrations. - **Nostalgic Depictions of Solitude:** Artists can create illustrations that evoke feelings of loneliness and nostalgic memories of being alone from childhood. - **Unrealistic Protagonists:** Artists can create unique characters that are visually appealing and can be placed in realistic settings, adding a dream-like quality to the artwork. ### Who This Affects Most - **Visual Arts:** Artists and illustrators can apply new techniques in visual arts to create unique and engaging artwork that resonates with diverse audiences. - **Publishing:** Publishers can commission illustrators to create artwork that enhances the storytelling experience and captures the emotions of the reader. - **Marketing and Advertising:** Brands can collaborate with visual artists to create visually appealing advertisements and marketing campaigns that capture the attention of their target audience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Archival Pigment Art Print](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/parallax.md) - [Limited Humorous Art Prints](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/david-shrigley-1.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Burgeoning Psychedelic Art Movements](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychedelic-art-movement.md) - [Vibrant Design Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neon-primitivism.md) - [Otherwordly Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/william-monk.md) - [Psychedelic Skateboard Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-psychedelia.md) - [Apocalypse Post Pandemic Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-urban-art.md) - [Outdoor-Inspired Colorful Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/travis-weller.md)
