The cushion features a flat, rounded design that can be used as a seat on the floor, a backrest when positioned against a wall and much more. The built-in storage loop allows it to be hung on the wall when not in use to make it a functional solution that addresses the space constraints of many modern urban homes. The IKEA DIHULT Pouffe is a new take on the [traditional bean bag chair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/truffle-pouf) that can be used individually or in multiples to create the exact kind of relaxed seating space you desire. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 17% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Multipurpose Seating Solutions:** Designing seating solutions that offer multiple functionalities and address the space constraints of modern homes. - **Hangable Furniture:** Incorporating hanging loops or hooks in furniture to create versatile design solutions for small spaces. - **Flat and Rounded Design:** Exploration of versatile design solutions using flat and rounded forms to create comfortable seating options. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture:** Designing furniture solutions that are multipurpose and can address space concerns. - **Home Decor:** Developing home decor products that incorporate both functionality and style for urban living. - **Interior Design:** Incorporating versatile, space-saving designs into small apartments, condos, and homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Gathering-Encouraged Playful Poufs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palma-pouf.md) - [Geometric Upholstered Poufs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tait.md) - [Simplistic Outdoor Poufs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/costuras-poufs.md) - [Bao-Resembling Modern Poufs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alda-ly-architecture.md) - [Rippled Modular Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puffa-furniture.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Dual-Function Seating Shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rubik-stool.md) - [Cozy 60s-Inspired Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-dyvlinge.md) - [Nature-Inspired Modular Pouf Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apego.md)
