[IKEA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/utsdd-collection) is now expanding upon the collection of products it offers for cats and dogs with inventive new additions to its LURVIG range like the LURVIG cat house. The cat house will be especially appealing to cat owners who have an IKEA [KALLAX](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eversolo-se100-speakers) shelving unit in their home, as the cubic cat house is designed to fit neatly within one of its units. The [space-saving design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kossebar) not only helps to keep the floor and walls free from clutter but also acknowledges that cats are likely to get into the KALLAX's cozy spaces whether there is a designated space for them there or not.

The new range of pet products also introduces similar solutions that are designed to work with IKEA furniture, like the smart cat house that slips over a MARIUS stool.
