# Spherically Shaped Headquarters The Iguzzini Illuminazione Iberian Office is Located in Spain By Jamie Danielle Munro | Published 2014-05-16 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iguzzini-illuminazione References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/architecture/iguzzini-illuminazione-headquarters-barcelona-mias-arquitectes-05-15-2014/) & [miasarquitectes](http://www.miasarquitectes.com/) The Iguzzini Illuminazione headquarters in Spain was completed by [Mias Arquitectes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lady-raval), and looks like something one would find from the future. The shape of the building is [distinctly spherical](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-ballroom), with one side throwing off the perfect sizing by being a little misshaped on purpose. The central section of the headquarters are made from large steel pillars, which go from the bottom of the top, opening up this middle area. Because of this, more daylight is able to get through, which is great for workers wanting a little [natural illumination](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lighting-innovation). A fabric-like material has also been placed around the outside of the facade, which should help to shade the building, while still ensuring people get plenty of light. The Iguzzini Illuminazione headquarters is hard to miss, considering it's original design by Mias Arquitectes.
