Created by Kazakh multidisciplinary designer Igor Mitin, the design adds a bright aesthetic appeal to any room. Each hookah is not only beautifully bright, but also multifunctional. Once the lights are off, the fun-hookahs transform into lamps. Mitin used fluorescent material that keeps these hookahs bright for an extended period of time. Not only will Fun-Hookahs provide [whimsical lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Woaw), but also add an unexpected surprise sure to impress guests. An added bonus to these water pipes is that the owner can create their own [customizable hookah](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ramenthemed-smoking-accessories). The various parts come apart and depending on the user's preference, they can create different ornate pipes. Igor Mitin was inspired to create hookahs with an added eastern spice. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Customizable Water Pipes:** The trend of customizable embellished water pipes creates opportunities for the DIY market and customization services. - **Multifunctional Design:** The trend towards multi-purpose hookah designs creates opportunities for home decor and interior design industries. - **Fluorescent Material:** The trend towards using fluorescent materials in hookah designs creates opportunities for light-up party accessories and novelty items. ### Where This Applies - **Diy/craft Market:** The DIY market can take advantage of the trend of customizable embellished water pipes to offer customized hookah-making kits. - **Home Decor and Interior Design:** The multifunctional design trend creates opportunities for home decor and interior design industries to offer innovative and unique products that serve multiple purposes. - **Party Supplies and Novelty Items:** The trend towards using fluorescent materials in hookah designs creates opportunities for manufacturers of light-up party accessories and novelty items. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Whimsical Cloud-Shaped Pipes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloudshaped-pipe.md) - [Balloon Dog-Themed Smoking Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balloon-dogthemed.md) - [Smokable Art Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flower-by-edie-parker-1.md) - [Candle-Shaped One-Hitter Glass Pipes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onehitter-glass-pipe.md) - [Luxury Limited-Edition Bongs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flower-by-edie-parker.md) - [Chic Transparent Glass Bongs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transparent-glass-bong.md) - [Sculptural Bong Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-bong.md) - [Animated Show-Inspired Butane Torches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/butane-torch.md) - [Cancer-Cutting Ultrasonic Shishas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nesta-ushisha.md)
