Here's something I found interesting. I was out this evening for NYE around town when I noticed a whole bunch of posters of photos of random locals plastered all over the main square of Canberra. On looking closer, I recognised a few of the people; all of the pics had a URL under it- "[www.idiotslikemehaveyourpicture.tk](http://www.idiotslikemehaveyourpicture.tk)".

Investigating this URL further when I returned home, I found it to be a website set up by some anonymous person who seemed to have a beef with the [MySpace](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noplace-app) phenomenon. The author states "These people put their pictures onto their Myspace profiles, publicly accessable virtual billboards, and i put their pictures up on public billboards in real space. This certainly seems kind of confronting at first, but if you compare the potential audience size and the amount of personal information revealed for each medium, these users' Myspace profiles contain far greater potential for stalking, harrassment, fraud, and other misuse of their personal information"

The idea was quite interesting and it does I guess show how with the increase in popularity with [social networking websites like MySpace](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/internet-social-caf) you can end up easily with your pic plastered somewhere you might not feel comfortable about.
