The ‘Decadence in the Disco’ editorial for i-D Mag’s Spring 2014 issue pays homage to an era of infectious dance music. Whether you prefer Donna Summers or The Bee Gees, one thing all disco fans can agree upon is that this spread certainly does the genre justice.

Caroline Brasch Nielsen dons bold, glittery facial hardware, making her look either like an extra from Travolta’s Saturday Night Fever or an ABBA groupie (or both).

Fashion editor Sarah Richardson executed her electronic-fuelled vision with the help of hair stylist Samantha Hillerby, makeup artist Val Garland and nail specialist Emma Welsh. The finished product, lensed by Richard Bush, will surely make viewers lust for a time machine back to the 1970s.
