Iconic Discs offer the opportunity to do so in a way that will not damage your beloved notebook. Unlike stickers, these decals are attached using a special kind of adhesive that can be later removed without a trace. A pair of fine, [metal landing pads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drink-gems) are pressed onto this, and it's to these brackets that the tiny magnets on the back of the Iconic Disc affix. On top of this is an circle-cropped picture, an aluminum ring and a protective acrylic lens. Choose from the Iconic Disc library of photos, or print your own. Install it over the Apple logo and it will make the image glow. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 60% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Marketing](https://www.trendhunter.com/marketing) > [Branding](https://www.trendhunter.com/branding) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Personalized Laptop Decor:** Opportunities for companies to offer unique and customizable laptop decals that will not damage the device. - **Eco-friendly Laptop Accessories:** Development of sustainable and biodegradable adhesive materials for laptop decals and protective covers. - **Interactive Laptop Accessories:** Innovative accessories that use technology to provide interactive experiences or functions for laptop users. ### Where This Applies - **Consumer Electronics:** Opportunities for electronic companies to create unique and customizable accessories for laptops to increase customer personalization. - **Printing and Imaging:** Development of new printing technologies that enable high-quality printing on small decal surfaces for laptop accessories. - **Sustainability:** Opportunities for companies to develop eco-friendly, biodegradable, and sustainable materials for laptop accessories and to fill a gap in the market for sustainable alternatives. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vintage Icon-Themed Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/susan-kare.md) - [Internet Icon Accessory Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/finder-icon-backpack.md) - [Visual Graphic-Inspired Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/esc-keys.md) - [Easily Customizable Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lenovos-new-laptop.md) - [Glow-in-the-Dark Device Skins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ddbrand-circuit-board.md) - [Branded Custom Device Skins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/custom-device-skins.md) - [Custom Phone Icon Themes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ios-experiences.md) - [Artwork-Covered Laptop Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/asus-x-steven-harrington-vivobook-13-slate.md) - [Photo Display Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instantphoto.md)
