# LEGO Art Galleries ‘Art Craziest Nation' Exhibition Pokes Fun at Snooty Galleries By Cowbag | Published 2009-04-28 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iconic-art-in-lego-art-craziest-nation-exhibition References: [liverpoolmuseums.org.uk](http://www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/walker/exhibitions/littleartists/money.asp) The Art Craziest Nation exhibition features LEGO figurines in a little LEGO art gallery, complete with recreations of famous artwork. These LEGO pictures makes me laugh too, as they poke fun at the ridiculousness of some art openings where people mill about so seriously with wine glasses. The picture collection shown here includes images with scenes of the entire gallery. Individual art featured includes Hirst’s [Shark Tank](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hibertec-homes), Hirst’s [Butterfly Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/krakw-apartment), Tracy Emin’s Bed, [Dali Lobster Telephone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dali-sonik-collection) and Kiefer’s Bookcases. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 53% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **LEGO Art Galleries:** Opportunity to create innovative and interactive art experiences using LEGO as a medium. - **Art Craziest Nation Exhibition:** Potential for unconventional art exhibitions that combine humor and satire to engage a wider audience. - **Recreations of Famous Artwork:** Disruptive potential for recreating famous artwork using LEGO, offering a fresh and unique perspective on iconic pieces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art Galleries:** Opportunity for art galleries to incorporate LEGO artworks as a way to attract new visitors and enhance visitor engagement. - **Museums:** Innovative approach for museums to bring famous artwork to life through LEGO recreations, creating interactive and educational experiences. - **Art Events and Exhibitions:** Potential for organizers of art events and exhibitions to incorporate LEGO art installations to appeal to a broader demographic and encourage participation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Contemporary Art Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-art-building-set.md) - [Abstract Art Block-Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/31210-modern-art-set.md) - [Pop Art-Style Blocked Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-in-red.md) - [Pop Art Factory Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-campbells-soup.md) - [Toy Building Block Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-exhibition.md) - [Building Block Art Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/art-project-create-together.md) - [Family-Friendly Interactive Museums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superpower-studios.md) - [Brick-Centric Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brick-collection.md) - [Iconic Painting-Inspired Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/girl-with-a-pearl-earring-1.md)
