Valencian design studio [Masquespacio](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/egeo-greek) completes the design for the sushi chain [Ichi Station](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ichi-table-lamp) in Milan. The dine-in restaurant is detailed with accents that resemble a [futuristic spaceship](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/future-train), juxtaposing the idea that it is set in a historic building located in the Brera District.

The space opens up to create a tunnel where diners are able to observe the sushi-making process with a bar close to the entrance to serve take-away customers. Co-founder of Masquespacio, Christophe Penasse explains the design and approach, stating "We proposed approaching the travel concept as a trip to the future. When you enter Ichi, it's like entering a capsule-like spaceship traveling through light, where you will disconnect from reality in order to get in touch with the food."
