This cute little stool by Taiwanese manufacturer Meijiao Life is an ice bucket in disguise. The top of the seat can be taken off, revealing your stash of [cold refreshments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puffin-drinkware). The 19-inch tall seat is easily [stackable](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omega-chair) or disassembled. The top of the chair, which is also the lid for the ice bucket, is lined with a cushion. This multifunctional concept definitely saves you costs. The designers thought it would make a good fit for hotels who are seeking unique designs that also serve more than one function. The only problem might be that either the ice will melt, or your tush will get really cold when sitting on the stool for a long time. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Multifunctional Furniture:** Create innovative furniture designs that serve multiple purposes, such as this stackable ice bucket chair. - **Unique Hotel Designs:** Design and create unique furniture pieces for hotels that provide practical functionality, like this ice bucket seat. - **Sustainable Cooling Solutions:** Develop sustainable cooling solutions for beverages, such as an eco-friendly ice bucket chair that minimizes energy consumption. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Manufacture versatile furniture pieces that combine aesthetics with practical functionality, like the stackable ice bucket chair. - **Hospitality and Tourism:** Integrate innovative and practical designs, such as the ice bucket seat, into hotel and resort furniture offerings. - **Eco-friendly Products:** Produce environmentally friendly cooling solutions for beverages, such as an ice bucket chair made from sustainable materials. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Drink-Holding Outdoor Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lago-lounge-chair.md) - [Fan-Shaped Stackable Stool Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stool-concept.md) - [Antitheft Storage Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/afford-chair.md) - [Stackable Screw-Free Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-stack-chair.md) - [Limited-Edition Campsite Ice Buckets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yeti-rambler-beverage-bucket.md) - [Storage-Attached Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-chair.md) - [Recycled Stacking Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sting-chair.md) - [Table-Equipped Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/migo-chair.md) - [Playful Recycled Aluminum Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuba-chair.md)
