The camera is inspired by the design language of both Apple and [GoPro](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hero10-black), and would be powered by the Apple A12Z Bionic Chip for lightning-fast feedback. The unit would also be paired with one large wide 22MP sensor along with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor to further enhance the capabilities of shutterbugs. The conceptual 'iCam Pro' is paired with LiDAR sensors and is imagined with a water-resistant design to make the action camera well-suited for use in a wide range of outdoor environments. The action cam is finished with some of the tech brand's most popular features including access to music, photos, iCloud and even Face ID for authentication. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 66% | Activity: 53% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Minimalist Tech Action Cameras:** The rise of minimalist tech action cameras in the market, emphasizing on portability, versatility, and high-quality imaging. - **Integration of Biometric Security in Action Cameras:** Manufacturers can enhance security features of action cameras by integrating biometric solutions, making them more secure and user-friendly. - **Advancements in Image Sensor Technology:** The market is seeing significant advancements in the image sensor technology used in action cameras, with sensors that can capture more light and produce high-quality images even in low-lit environments. ### Who This Affects Most - **Photography and Videography:** There is a huge potential for the photography and videography industry to leverage the use of minimalist tech action cameras to capture high-quality images and videos. - **Travel and Tourism:** The travel and tourism industry can utilize minimalist tech action cameras to capture high-quality images and videos of destinations, attractions and activities, providing a more immersive experience for tourists. - **Security and Surveillance:** There is a growing demand for the use of biometric security in action cameras in the security and surveillance industry, which can benefit from the added security features of biometric authentication. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Branded Technology Action Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/icam-pro-concept.md) - [Earphone-Equipped Folding Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-ipro.md) - [Blockish Multipurpose Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microsoft-lumia-action-cam.md) - [Advanced AI-Enabled Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insta360-ace-pro-2.md) - [Point-and-Shoot-Inspired Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sony-cybershot.md) - [DSLR-Inspired Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-iphone-14-concept.md) - [Ultra-Sleek Smartphone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-16-pro-concept.md) - [Wide-Angle Lens Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xiaomi-mi-action-360.md) - [AI-Powered Action Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insta360-1.md)
