# Illuminating Phone Cases The iblazr Case Increases the Power of the iPhone Camera's Flash By Joey Haar | Published 2016-11-23 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iblazr-case References: [digitaltrends](http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/iblazr-case/?utm_source=feedly&utm_medium=webfeeds) & [kickstarter](https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/iblazr/iblazr-case-superpower-your-iphone?token=f0e1e633) Though the flashes that accompany most phone cameras are bright enough to serve as a flashlight in a pinch, the 'iblazr Case' turns [iPhone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-iphone-case) camera flashes into lights powerful enough for [high quality photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-case-series), no matter the exterior conditions. The case contains 40 high-power LEDs that automatically sync with users' phones, lighting up whenever the flash is in use. Not only does the iblazr Case boost the amount of flash on one's phone -- by a factor of five, to be precise -- but it also adds battery life. Rather than depleting battery, as one might expect from such a bright addition, the iblazr Case is a peripheral battery that doubles the life of one's phone. Further, the dimming LEDs will sync up with many iPhone apps to gently pulse when users have notifications. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 75% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Enhanced Phone Camera Flash:** The iblazr Case boosts the power of iPhone camera flashes, opening up opportunities for improved photography in low-light conditions. - **Peripheral Battery Cases:** The iblazr Case serves as a phone case that doubles as a peripheral battery, increasing the battery life of the iPhone. - **Notification-synced LED Lights:** The dimming LEDs on the iblazr Case can sync with iPhone apps to provide visual notifications through gentle pulsing. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Phone Accessories:** The iblazr Case is a disruptive product in the phone accessories industry, introducing enhanced flash capabilities and extended battery life. - **Photography Equipment:** The enhanced phone camera flash provided by the iblazr Case opens up opportunities for improved photography in low-light conditions. - **Mobile Technology:** The notification-synced LED lights on the iblazr Case add a new dimension to the mobile technology industry, providing visual indications for notifications. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Power-Providing LED Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/starcase.md) - [Ultra-Bright Smartphone Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harlowe-sol-5.md) - [Customizable LED Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-iphone-case.md) - [Illuminating Magnetic Smartphone Batteries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonside-maglight.md) - [Wireless Smartphone Flashlight Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumicard.md) - [Smartphone-Attached Compact Flashlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wuben-e1.md) - [Action Button Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bangcase.md) - [Illuminating Functional Power Banks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonside.md) - [Smartphone Dual Screen Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfix.md)
