'I Wish This Was' is one of the best [civic activist projects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/campus-beautification) I have come across in some time. Created by Candy Chang of the Civic Center, the 'I Wish This Was' stickers let your opinion be heard when it comes to [urban development](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/city-making-101).

The concept behind 'I Wish This Was' is incredibly simple: Simply write what you want a building or site to become on the sticker and affix it to the building. The project started in New Orleans, where people no doubt have a mile-long wish list of new businesses and developments that they would like to see.

The best part of 'I Wish This Was' is that anyone can participate. The [stickers can be ordered](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stickerlab) in packs of up to 100, letting your voice be heard many times over around your neighborhood.
