Boasting a slim design that is [ultra-lightweight](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spanx-airessentials1), the life vest can be worn during kayaking trips, when surfing and much more without feeling restricted by the safety equipment. This is thanks to the [inflatable design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-milano-jacket) that maintains a slim aesthetic until it's required by the wearer; pulling the ripcord on the front will inflate the jacket in a single moment and ensure optimal buoyancy. The 'Hyde Wingman' life vest is packed with a CO2 cylinder that will inflate all of the bladders simultaneously to ensure you are perfectly balanced in the water. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Ultra-slim Life Vests:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop lightweight and slim life vests for water sports enthusiasts to enhance comfort and agility. - **Inflatable Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the use of inflatable technology in designing safety equipment for quick and efficient deployment. - **Optimal Buoyancy:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create life vests with advanced buoyancy features for better balance in the water. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Water Sports Equipment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Revolutionize the water sports industry by introducing ultra-slim life vests for improved performance. - **Safety Equipment Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Innovate in the field of safety equipment manufacturing by incorporating inflatable designs in life vests. - **Outdoor Recreation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Enhance the outdoor recreation industry by developing innovative and comfortable life vests for various water activities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Under-Arm Rescue Floatation Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ua80-evolution-vest.md) - [Hydrodynamic Weighted Diver Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hydrospine-freediving-weight.md) - [Featherlight Inflatable Bike Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflabi-bike-helmet.md) - [Self-Inflating Kids Swimwear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-swimwear.md) - [Foldable Air Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ventete-ah1.md) - [Hybrid Inflatable Watercraft](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/isle-the-switch.md) - [Plastic Bottle Lifejackets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bot-lifejacket.md) - [Inflatable Hydrofoil Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lift-blowfish.md) - [Winter Sport Survivalist Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/db-snow-pro-vest.md)
