# Adaptive Pillow Designs BEDGEAR Expands Its Hybrid Mattress Collection By Kalin Ned | Published 2026-07-20 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybrid-mattress-collection References: [bedgear](https://bedgear.com/blogs/newsroom/bedgear-brings-award-winning-pillow-innovation-to-expanded-hybrid-mattress-collection?srsltid=AfmBOoqXHroSr_ujupY1vIXUuzinCFk24mhcPBqTKnJihg2JMQa51gbZ) [BEDGEAR](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sleep-just-got-personal) has expanded its Hybrid Mattress Collection with the introduction of the React [Blend](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freal-blend-n-serve-blender) Pillowtop — a proprietary construction that integrates adaptive materials and silk-like fibers directly into the sleep surface of its redesigned H4 and H6 models. In addition to this design, the brand has also added a new firm-feel option called the H2 Hybrid Performance Mattress to give shoppers three distinct comfort levels ranging from firm to medium to plush. The new additions to BEDGEAR's Hybrid Mattress Collection mark a departure from [conventional pillowtop designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/levitex-slice-pillow), which typically involve a separate sewn-on layer that can compromise breathability and longevity. Instead, they embed the plush conforming material as an integral part of the mattress structure to ensure it remains stable and durable over repeated use. BEDGEAR's Hybrid Mattress Collection also incorporates established cooling technologies, including a Ver-Tex cover that dissipates heat, Air-X Mesh side panels, and Air Vents that maximize cross-ventilation.
