# Hybrid Home Offices This House is Designed for a Couple with Kids Who Work from Home By Christopher Magsambol | Published 2015-10-28 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybrid-home References: [contemporist](http://www.contemporist.com/2015/10/25/a-house-designed-for-a-couple-to-work-from-home-so-they-can-spend-more-time-with-their-children/) & [tgf-design](http://www.tgf-design.com/) This hybrid home-office is designed for a couple who works from home and wants to spend more time with their kids. The home's design is centered on an open living, dining and kitchen space, which allows for easy supervision of the children. Within this [open-concept layout](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unorthodox-designs), the homeowner's offices were partitioned off in stylish aluminum walls, which work as a design element and a way to define the space. Furthermore, the [aluminum partitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deveron-office) allow the homeowners to keep an eye on their children even while working. The hybrid home-office by Tal Goldsmith Fish Design Studio beautifully incorporates both essential spaces into one unified design. Situated in the center of the home, the office overlooks most of the house and even the backyard. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 95% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Hybrid Home-offices:** Combining home and office spaces for more productivity, flexibility, and family-time. - **Open-concept Designs:** Designs that feature open spaces to enhance communication, creativity, and supervision. - **Smart Workspace Solutions:** Technological innovations that aim to improve productivity, efficiency, and comfort in home offices. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Opportunities for designers to create functional, aesthetic, and adaptive home-office spaces. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Opportunities for manufacturers to develop ergonomic, modular, and multi-purpose office furniture. - **Information Technology:** Opportunities for IT companies to offer user-friendly, secure, and scalable digital workspace solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Soothing Live-Work Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/livework-unit.md) - [Modular Hybrid Work Layouts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybrid-work-layout.md) - [Redesigned Hybrid Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybrid-office1.md) - [Home-Inspired Office Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harella-house.md) - [Home Office Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dieffebi.md) - [Home Office Structural Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ingrid.md) - [Multi-Purpose Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kokuyo.md) - [Colorful Room Sanctuaries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorful-room.md) - [Reinvented Office Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mislad.md)
