One major change to the HX99G when compared to its predecessors, such as the HX90 or the UM690, is the addition of a discrete graphics card, as these previous mini PCs relied on integrated graphics chips. The HX99G is powered by the [Ryzen 9 6900HX](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beelink-gtr6), which boasts 8 cores and 16 threads clocked up to 4.9 Ghz. Users still have access to the iGPU on this card, the [Radeon 680M](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/um773), but Minisforum also included a mobile GPU from AMD titled the RX 6600M, which is a mid-range GPU that runs at a base clock of 2060 Mhz and a boost clock of 2416 Mhz.
