The Huttenpalast is a concept for a quirky hotel thought up by Silke Lorenzen and Sarah Vollmer. The idea behind this hip place to stay is not only eco-friendly, but totally appealing to any traveller looking for a unique place to stay the night.

Comprised of [renovated campsite caravans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trailpod-camping-trailers), Huttenpalast is a [low-cost alternative](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swapper) to staying in an over-priced hotel or sketchy B&B. The [huts are built of wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/secret-camp) and the team behind the project is busy at work constructing six en-suite rooms. There will eventually be more luxe rooms available, but currently what you see in the gallery above is what is available.

It's definitely not your run-of -the-mill place to have an overnighter, but that's why I love the concept.
