It embraces both its natural surroundings as well as the [minimalist Scandinavian design aesthetic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kemi-2025-model) in order to become a safe haven that people might be happy to stay in rather than explore the great outdoors. Designed by Tham & Videgard Arkitekter, the Husaro House is a very [geometric structure of squares and triangles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hee-house). Yet it's the airy inside full of [exposed wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-ottsj) that makes the design so striking. Split into two levels, the Husaro House is equipped with everything a person could need or want. Yet it is its glazed sliding doors to the outdoors that truly stand out, especially against the all-black exterior. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.9/10 - Popularity: 100% | Activity: 99% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Minimalist Design Aesthetic:** Companies in the architecture and interior design industries should explore the use of minimalist design aesthetic in their projects in order to create spaces that are both stunning and functional. - **Emphasis on Natural Surroundings:** Businesses in the hospitality and tourism industries should consider integrating elements of the natural surroundings into their offerings in order to create unique experiences for their customers. - **Geometric Structures:** Architects and construction companies may explore the use of geometric structures as it provides a modern and aesthetically pleasing design element to their buildings. ### Where This Applies - **Architecture:** Architectural firms can experiment with blending traditional and modern elements to create unique designs and structures that make use of natural surroundings. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can create innovative and functional spaces through the use of minimalist design while incorporating elements of nature. - **Hospitality & Tourism:** Companies in this industry can create one-of-a-kind experiences for their customers by incorporating the natural surroundings in their property design, such as eco-homes, sustainable lodges, and nature-inspired hotels. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tar-Coated Timber Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-tjurpannan.md) - [Coastal Summer Calm Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hors.md) - [Natural Material Stilted Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yngsj.md) - [Blocky Structural Coastal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sa-hjort.md) - [Natural Material-Crafterd Holiday Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sommarhus-e.md) - [Log Cabin-Inspired Minimal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/restua.md) - [Wood Cladded Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grafton-house.md) - [Contemporary Arctic Red Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/simonsson-house.md) - [Dual Tonal Wooden Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/svart-hus.md)
