With this photo comes a lot of apprehension; mainly due to the increasing amount of counterfeit photographs being used during the storm. However, as unreal as this photo does look, it is in fact a real photograph of a rainbow hovering over downtown Manhattan. This photograph seems too good to be true, but it is comforting to see such a [beautiful display](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spencer-finch) after such a destructive storm. Noah Kalina also happens to be the photographer who photographed a self-portrait of himself over several years and made an amazing time-lapse video from it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 71% | Activity: 98% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Science](https://www.trendhunter.com/science) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Natural Disaster Photography:** Opportunity to capture awe-inspiring images amidst the chaos of natural disasters. - **Counterfeit Detection Technology:** Innovation in technology that can detect counterfeit photographs during times of crisis. - **Time-lapse Documentation:** Incorporating time-lapse photography to track and document the effects of natural disasters over a period of time. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography:** Continued development of new techniques to capture high-quality images in challenging circumstances. - **Technology:** Developing anti-counterfeit technology can improve confidence in the authenticity of photographs. - **Journalism:** Adapting to new visual storytelling formats such as time-lapse photography can provide unique angles in reporting natural disasters. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hyperlocal Weather Forecasting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rainbow-weather.md) - [Digital City-Inspired Art Works](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-central-station.md) - [Office Building Rainbow Facades](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vertical-rainbow-office.md) - [Tornado-Inspired Illuminator Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/storm-lamp.md) - [Lightning-Inspired Artful Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bright-light-shining.md) - [Blurry Abstract Photography Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-allusion.md) - [Durable Energy Infrastructures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beam-global.md) - [Dramatic Doomsday Bunker Images](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alastair-philip-wiper.md) - [Post-Pandemic Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lakwena-maciver.md)
