# Hurricane HDR Hurricane Ike Inspired Photography By Bianca | Published 2008-09-16 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hurricane-ike-hdr References: [trendhunter](http://www.trendhunter.com) As Hurricane Ike whirls through Texas, passionate photographers are turning to their SLR cameras and tripods for some creative [HDR photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pic-2-planet). Although not all of these images are of Hurricake Ike, the photography in the gallery illustrates how [natural disasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hurricane-relief-initiative) act as [creative inspiration for artists](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paul-anthony-smith), just as they have done for humans since the dawn of civilization. It's hard not to be impacted by a natural wonder as powerful as Hurricane Ike, but its interesting to note the diversity in how people are affected.
