# Twisting Donut-Shaped Bookshelves The Hullabaloo Bookshelf by Deniz Aktay is Perplexing By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2024-02-14 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hullabaloo-bookshelf References: [homecrux](https://www.homecrux.com/hullabaloo-bookshelf-twisted-doughnut-shape/235398/) & [instagram](https://www.instagram.com/dezinobjects/reel/C3FtWGAoBjr/) The Hullabaloo Bookshelf has been designed by Deniz Aktay as a stylish furniture concept that prioritizes a perplexing aesthetic without sacrificing functionality. The bookshelf is constructed with a donut-shaped form that has ample shelves to support an array of books, while the rollercoaster-like aesthetic positions their access from a range of angles. This transforms the humble bookshelf design into a beautiful solution for the home that will ornately put favorite publications on display. The Hullabaloo Bookshelf is imagined in orange and black finish options, which both have a translucent backing to prevent the books from slipping out. This allows the books to be further visible in the shelving, while still maintaining a sense of airiness in the design.
