Cerveza Patagonia, a beer brand by [Anheuser-Busch](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crocs-and-busch-light), recently launched a new physical distancing campaign that encourages fans to 'Hug a Tree' not a person with the incentive of free beer. The new ad embraces Cerveza Patagonia's love of nature and is part of the brand's ongoing efforts to plant a tree for each beer purchased.

Plus, fans can share a photo of themselves hugging a tree on [Twitter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beer-nfts) or [Instagram](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-neighborator), tagging @CervezaPatagonia, and the brand will send them a Drizly coupon to redeem a free case of Cerveza Patagonia.

Alexander Monroy, Sr. Brand Director for Cerveza Patagonia, commented on the new campaign, stating: “As a brand, everything we do is inspired by the restorative powers of the outdoors. It’s why we plant a tree for every case of beer we sell, and why we want people to go outside and enjoy nature in times like these. We’re glad to have found a way to bring people outdoors, not only for the sake of being outdoors, but to demonstrate the restorative power of nature at work, all while keeping them safe.”
