Designed to blend into the topography of the mountains, the buildings in the village have a tiered structure that looks organic and fluid in its shaping. Residents would be living as part of the [natural environment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hedge-and-arbour-house), becoming more integrated into their surrounding landscape. These buildings would not become an eye-sore as they have a [beautiful and sculptural look](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aydc-public-art-centre) to them that would add to the intrigue and mystique of the mountains. Those who will be lucky enough to live in the Huangshan Mountain Village will be surrounded by one of the most breath-taking views ever. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 79% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Landscape-infused Architecture:** Increasing use of architectural designs that blend into the natural environment, blurring the lines between human-made structures and nature. - **Organic Building Design:** Incorporating organic and fluid shapes and tiered structures into building designs to create a more natural and beautiful environment. - **Sustainable Architecture:** Designing buildings that not only blend into their natural surroundings but also use sustainable materials and energy sources to reduce environmental impact. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** Opportunity to innovate and create a new building design approach that prioritizes blending in with natural surroundings and using sustainable materials. - **Real Estate:** Potential to create a new market for people who are interested in living in environmentally friendly buildings that are seamlessly integrated into the natural landscape. - **Tourism:** Opportunity to promote eco-tourism in areas with breathtaking landscapes, by offering sustainable and visually appealing accommodations that complement the surroundings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Landscape-Concealed Cultural Centers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chaohu-natural-and-cultural-centre.md) - [Farmland-Inspired Rural Hotel Cottages](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ningshan-luzhai-cottages.md) - [Mountain-Based Curved Viewpoints](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yunhai-forest-service-station.md) - [Elevated Mountain Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-cadree-perche.md) - [Biophilic Mountain Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-prakriti-biophilic.md) - [Nature-Rooted Family Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haus-am-lagnesberg.md) - [Interactive Architectural Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-landscape.md) - [Beautiful Forest-Enclosed Churches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mountain-church-of-julong.md) - [Mountain‑inspired Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-echo-villa.md)
