For those that either drive into the city and park far from their office or take public transit and then have to walk, the 'DriftWheels' hoverboard scooter offers a helpful solution.

The short-range 'DriftWheels' scooter would enable users to hope onto the device for the last leg of their journey. Designed by Hyerin Cho Preda, the 'DriftWheels' hoverboard scooter features a handle for easy carrying and [self-balancing wheels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/advanced-electric-scooters).

The carbon fiber finish is accented with LED lights and an acceleration/braking system that makes movement more fluid and intuitive.

Although [hoverboard-type scooters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harley-davidson-livewire) have gotten a bad rapport for being unsafe, the 'DriftWheels' scooter would help bring safe, intuitive driving to those who need it most. It would also be suitable for urban consumers looking to avoid motorbikes or other larger forms of [personal transportation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modi).
