Shaped like basic silhouettes of the classic home, this set of wooden toys can be used in an array of ways to feed creativity. Whether lining them up like a row of townhouses or piling them on top of each other to create a mosaic of geometric forms, the toy set looks like a lot of fun. According to the designer, Houses by Antonio Serrano Bulnes is meant to represent "where our souls are kept." They were created for Mad Lab. Each set is made up of different shaped and sized blocks and are crafted in solid oak with finger joint unions with a natural waxy surface finish. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Home-inspired Building Blocks:** Opportunity for innovative toy designers to create building blocks that resemble familiar objects and spark imaginative play. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Toy Manufacturing:** Chance for toy manufacturers to develop unique building block sets that promote creative and imaginative play. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Towering Wooden Block Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/capsule-tower.md) - [Architecture-Inspired Building Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blockitecture-frank-lloyd-wright.md) - [Playful-Focused Polish Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/znamy-si.md) - [Toy Block-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloc-collection.md) - [Playful Storage Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/berto-hidden-secrets.md) - [Cement Block-Decorated Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/small-houses.md) - [Structure Building Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-cards-building-kit.md) - [Modular Home Building Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-imagination.md) - [Human-Shaped Puzzle Bricks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/souper-connect.md)
