The House Y2 boasts a unique layout. It is essentially made up of [two separate structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/double-villa-bukovac) that are connected by an [underground tunnel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vipp-tunnel). As though straight out of a Victorian novel, the tunnel could be likened to a secret passageway. Except, of course, it is not a secret at all. That is because the tunnel simply bridges one part of the House Y2 to another.

Designed by destilat Architecture + Design, the House Y2 was created in such a way as to make the most of the views of the Danube River. Built at the [foot of the Pöstlingberg mountain](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avber-house) in Austria, the House Y2 has essentially split up the living area and the sleeping quarters.
