The focal point was Casa Cabanyal, a historic structure dating back to 1946 and located in Valencia's traditional fishing neighborhood. Viruta Lab meticulously revived the residence and created a solid visual appeal by merging historical significance with a refreshed, maritime-inspired aesthetic. The project is underpinned by a deep emotional connection as the home carries strong sentimental value for the owner. Viruta Lab opted in for revealing the [original brick walls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sobremesa-house) and restoring pre-existing moldings. The film also infused the interior with eye-catching detail which can be observed from the intricately patterned chequerboard tiling that effortlessly compliments the traditional elements of Casa Cabanyal's interior.
