In these editorials shot by New York-based photographer Julia Comita, model Willy Cartier is adorned with eccentric headdresses designed by [House of Malakai](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uno-beach-house).

In virtually every photograph, Cartier is shown wearing dark, brooding expressions and striking pensive poses. Dirt-stained, well-worn gray bricks serve as the backdrop to most of photographs. Because the model is often shot standing in a corner, the brick-walls make their way into the foreground, thereby occupying a prominent position in each photograph. These gritty urban settings go well with the [tribal-inspired couture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/khaotique-noir) that Cartier wears.

As far as the headdresses go, many are made from long, [exotic feathers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/untamed-nature) while others are bedazzled in spikes. The rest of his outfit is similarly inspired. Loose, flowing cloaks and knee-high leather boots help to accentuate the obscure and dark atmosphere of the shots.
