The television show features a congressman who works alongside his conniving wife to get revenge on the people who betrayed him. These cards are twisted and loving at the same time. Each House of Cards valentine features one of the main characters. It is interestingly enticing. The political drama turned Valentine's Day cards are funny yet mysterious. Personally, I would hope that no one is willing to kill for you to be their valentine, at least not literally. I would just make sure that the person receiving them isn't on your hit list, because things could get awkward. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 58% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Humor](https://www.trendhunter.com/humor) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Tv-themed Valentines:** There's an opportunity to create and market similar valentines for other popular TV shows or movies. - **Twisted Humor in Valentine's Day:** There's an opportunity to create Valentine's Day cards with unconventional and humorous messages. - **Political Drama/pop Culture Mash-ups:** There's an opportunity to create more merchandise that fuses popular political dramas with other facets of pop culture. ### Who This Affects Most - **Greeting Card Industry:** Valentine's Day cards market is ripe for unique and unconventional messages. - **Television Industry:** Opportunities are available to create similar merchandise based on popular TV shows. - **Entertainment Industry:** There's an opportunity to expand the product offerings of political dramas into unconventional realms. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Practical Valentine’s Day Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/valentines-card-bath-bar.md) - [Naughty Valentines Day Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sugar-wood.md) - [Spicy Valentine’s Day Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/some-love-it-hot-valentines-day-set.md) - [Inclusive Valentine's Day Gifts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hallmark-valentines-day.md) - [Love-Inspired Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/how-to-say-i-love-you-around-the-world.md) - [Valentine's Beef Jerky Hearts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meathearts.md) - [Educational Valentine's Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/language-of-love.md) - [Spiteful Scorpion Valentine's Gifts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scorpion-valentines-gifts.md) - [Sitcom-Themed Valentine's Candies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brachs-x-friends-conversation-hearts.md)
