After all, you have to amuse yourself in such a setting. With its clean, classic lines complemented with [floor to ceiling windows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-ridge) and an all-white interior, it is a perfect blend of rustic and contemporary in on neat little (or not so little) package. The House at Mols Hills was designed by Lenschow & Pihlmann and is [located in Denmark](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vejrhj-house). Overlooking the bay and the Ebeltoft city, it is made out of wooden planks, some galvanized steel and some zinc. Swipelife writes, "Every room has a surprising private exit to an outdoor section surrounded with trees and bushes." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Contemporary-rustic Design:** There is a growing trend in incorporating clean, classic lines with natural materials to create a blend of rustic and contemporary aesthetics. - **Floor-to-ceiling Windows:** The use of floor-to-ceiling windows is a rising trend that allows for abundant natural light and seamless integration between indoor and outdoor spaces. - **Seamless Indoor-outdoor Living:** More homeowners are seeking designs that seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor living spaces, providing a refreshing and immersive experience. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Architecture and Design:** Architects and designers can capitalize on the trend of contemporary-rustic design by offering unique and innovative approaches to blend natural elements with modern aesthetics. - **Windows and Glass Manufacturing:** The increasing demand for floor-to-ceiling windows presents an opportunity for manufacturers to develop advanced windows and glass products that maximize energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal. - **Outdoor Living and Landscaping:** The trend of seamless indoor-outdoor living opens up new avenues for businesses in the outdoor living and landscaping industry, with a focus on creating cohesive and harmonious spaces that extend the interior design to the outdoor environment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Simple Material Family Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/openfield-house.md) - [Relaxing Wooden Holiday Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heatherhill-beach-house.md) - [Panoramic Scenic Dreamy Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-sozopol.md) - [Monolithic Sleek Summer Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vollerup-atrium.md) - [Refined Modern Dwellings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silver-house.md) - [Meadow-Overlooking Sleek Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studioac-1.md) - [Lush Surroundings Glass Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-house-1.md) - [Serene Timeless Minimal Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-hkarn.md) - [Hillside Family Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sky-house-1.md)
