The upgraded retreat within the hotel's serene 50-acre Riviera Maya estate now spans two floors and features innovations like a sensory deprivation tank, hydrotherapy circuit, and infrared sauna. Inspired by European wellness modalities, owner Kevin Wendle envisioned a transformative space rooted in longevity. The result is an [immersive menu](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinda-studio) that ranges from Temazcal steam rituals and herb-infused teas to radio-frequency skin tightening and cold plunges. Each treatment begins with an ancestral energy cleansing, creating a deeply intentional start to every session. Signature touches -- like cacao ceremonies and garden-grown botanicals -- honor local heritage, while new tech-driven therapies attract repeat guests seeking results-driven relaxation. Whether it’s a scalp massage after the hydro circuit or a NuEra facial before sunset, Hotel Esencia’s new spa invites guests to recharge in the ultimate balance of tradition and innovation.
