This creative recipe makes a marshmallow target or bulls-eye and pairs them with a drinking straw arrow. This romantic recipe begins with the marshmallow. Liz uses a heart-shaped cookie cutter to make a lovable floating heart. The marshmallow will act like the bulls-eye for a straw that is wrapped in pink ribbon and red paper. This recipe is best served with two straws, allowing one to fully experience the inspiration behind the [romantic Valentine's Day drink](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pink-velvet-mocha). The actual cocoa component for this hot chocolate for two follows a [simple and traditional recipe](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hotel-chocolat-drinking-chocolates). It combines sugar cocoa and powdered milk. This adorable DIY recipe and craft idea is perfect for the homebody couple who just want to stay in. The handmade gift is also a nice touch for any holiday season. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 20% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Valentine's Day DIY Gifts:** Opportunity to disrupt the DIY gift market with more creative and personalized ideas for Valentine's Day. - **Decorative Food Presentation:** Opportunity to disrupt the food industry by offering unique and visually appealing food presentation ideas. - **Romantic Craft Ideas:** Opportunity to disrupt the craft industry by offering new and romantic craft ideas for holidays and special occasions. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Food & Beverage:** Opportunity to disrupt the market by offering new and unique food presentation ideas and recipes for holidays and special occasions. - **DIY Gifts:** Opportunity to disrupt the DIY gift industry with more creative and personalized gift ideas for holidays and special occasions. - **Crafts:** Opportunity to disrupt the craft industry with new and romantic DIY craft ideas for holidays and special occasions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Liqueur-Flavored Hot Chocolate Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baileys-hot-chocolate.md) - [Spicy Hot Chocolate Sticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chocolate-cayenne-pepper.md) - [Mexican Hot Chocolate-Inspired Beverages](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/red-hot-love-mocha.md) - [Romantic Cocktail Recipes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fiveyear-barrel-aged-rum.md) - [DIY Love-Inspired Cocktail Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/love-potion-cocktail-kit.md) - [Sweet Heart-Shaped Marshmallows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hearts-marshmallows.md) - [Perfect Coffee-Chocolate Pairings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coffee-and-chocolate-pairing.md) - [Hot Chocolate Cubes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hot-chocolate-cubes.md) - [Heart-Shaped Valentine's Day Marshmallows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stuffed-puffs-valentines-day.md)
